With Advisory Management we provide regular investment advice, but ultimately you decide whether or not to follow this advice and the timing of that. We provide regular (usually six monthly) valuations and portfolio reviews.
We have a greater specific responsibility towards our Discretionary Management clients, who have passed full responsibility for their investments to us. Our advisory service is suitable for those who have a keen interest in investment and wish to share the burden of responsibility for their investments. Advisory Management requires a two way conversation. The disadvantage is that you have to instruct all decisions, which for those with busy lives may not be a top priority. For this reason, more and more clients elect for Discretionary Management.
We are wholly owned by the working directors. In over 100 years there have only been 21 directors/partners – 11 of whom are in the business today.
