Frequently Asked Questions

Valuations

Q. Can I see valuations online?

A. Yes. We have an online valuation facility for clients who hold their investments through our nominee services. The online valuations system provides a valuation of holdings / cash held within our full nominee and ISA services as at last night's close along with other data. To register click on the icon in the top right hand corner and follow the instructions closely.

Q. I cannot find the price of some of my shares in the newspaper - Why not?

A. Companies have to pay to have their share prices shown in the newspaper and so not all companies appear in all newspapers. The Financial Times probably has the most comprehensive listing and many private investors buy the Saturday edition of the FT each week because it has a useful personal finance and investing section as well.

Our online valuations service will offer market prices (subject to a fifteen minute delay) for most UK companies once operational. Most company websites offer share price information and the London Stock Exchange http://www.londonstockexchange.com/ offers delayed prices for all UK quoted companies.
