Murrayfield Debentures
Q. Is it true that I can buy and sell Murrayfield Debentures through you?
A. Yes. We are official agents of the Scottish Rugby Union. We match sellers and buyers of the Debentures to facilitate transactions. Please contact Graham Black (0141 248 4311) for further information.
We are not authorised by our Regulator to act as a Market Maker to set price levels for the different Debentures, or buy Debentures from one client to sell to another client at a later stage. In fact, no one offers this service. Our role is simply to try to match a prospective buyer with a prospective seller and make sure the bargain settles. Our stockbroking expertise is necessary for these roles, but we can only act as a "cupid" to match an appropriate buyer and seller.
If you want to sell, we will need the certificate and a signed transfer form in the office before we can proceed. Contact Graham Black for a transfer form.
We do keep an up to date list of those Debenture holders who have indicated a desire to sell or buy. This does not indicate a price. If you are looking to buy Debentures, we can provide an up to date list of seats that may be available for sale.
Q. I have lost my Murrayfield Debenture certificate. What should I do?
A. Contact the SRU at Murrayfield on 0131 346 5022. Any questions relating to the details of your Murrayfield Debenture should be directed to Murrayfield in the first instance.
Q. Can you provide Probate/Inheritance Tax values for Murrayfield Debentures?
A. No. Due to the infrequency of trades and the variety of seats available, this is not possible. However, we can provide details of last known traded prices.
