Robin Younger FFA
Robin is a research analyst covering a range of sectors in the UK equity market, in particular financials and utilities. He also covers fixed interest investments, property and infrastructure funds. He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 2000 and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Robin graduated from Heriot-Watt University with first class honours in actuarial mathematics and statistics. He joined Scottish Widows as an actuarial student and qualified as an actuary in 1982. Robin spent 18 years with Scottish Widows, 13 of which were in the investment department where he worked on fixed interest for several years before becoming a UK equity analyst/fund manager. Robin then moved to Henry Cooke in Manchester where he ran UK equity and fixed interest funds and was appointed head of strategy.
