Margaret McLaren ASIP
Margaret is Head of Research at Speirs & Jeffrey and has direct analytical responsibility for a range of quoted equities as well as a large number of collective funds. She graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 1983 with an honours degree in mathematical sciences, joining Scottish Mutual as an investment analyst.
Prior to joining Speirs & Jeffrey in January 2007, Margaret was an Investment Director at Britannic (now Ignis) Asset Management where she gained over 18 years experience of global markets, primarily in US, UK and European equities, as well as managing both retail and institutional client portfolios. She is a Member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of the UK.
